Jean Michel (Postdoc, ExMI) investigates novel chromophores for biomedical diagnostics. The focus of his work is on the design and synthesis of contrast agents for photoacoustic imaging, as well as the synthesis of new fluorescence dark-quencher for the application in Förster resonance energy transfer systems.
