Anne (M.Sc. in Laboratory Animal Science, RWTH Aachen) joined ExMI in 2008 and works as a biologist specialized in contrast-enhanced ultrasound imaging. She participated in multiple research projects focusing on the application of molecular contrast-enhanced ultrasound for diagnosis and therapy monitoring in the fields of oncology and cardiovascular research. Her PhD projects focus on preclinical and clinical applications of diagnostic and interventional contrast-enhanced ultrasound on tumor pathophysiology of breast cancer. Her PhD projects are part of the Research Group 2591 “Severity assessment in animal-based research” and the Research Training Group 2375 “Tumor Targeted Drug Delivery”.
