Anu is a PhD candidate at RWTH Aachen University (Germany). She holds a M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from RWTH University (2021). She is a member of the Tumor-Targeted Drug Delivery Research Training Group. She works on the project titled “Priming tumor blood vessels and the microenvironment” which focuses on treatment with vessel modulatory agents to improve drug delivery and therapeutic efficiency and employing multiparametiric imaging techniques to characterize the tumor microenvironment and metastasis during treatment. Anu is also focusing on the characterization of the tumor microenvironment (TME) by using 3D in vitro models to study angiogenesis and remodelling of the TME.
