Roman Barmin obtained his MSc degree in Photonics and Quantum Materials from the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Moscow, Russia) under the supervision of Prof. Dmitry Gorin, focused on functional microbubbles for multimodal imaging and therapy applications. He is interested in the implementation of surfactants, proteins, and polymers for microbubbles shell stabilization and routes for its further functionalization with nanoparticles and small molecules. His research deals with microbubbles and nanoparticles for diagnostics and therapy.
