Rui Zhang obtained his MSc degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Institute of Functional Nano and Soft Materials (Soochow University, China) under the supervision of Prof. Zhuang Liu, focused on functional nanomaterials for innovative theranostics and clinical translation. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Dr. Roger Molto Pallares at the Institute for Experimental Molecular Imaging (ExMI). His major research interests focus on the developing of nanomedicines for the smart delivery of immunostimulant agent for cancer treatments while minimizing off-target and side effects.
