Julia (M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, University of Applied Sciences Aachen) joined ExMI in April 2022 and is also part of the Research Training Group 2375 “Tumor Targeted Drug Delivery”. In context of her PhD project focus is put on the sonoporation and sonopermeation effect in tissue that is observed during ultrasound exposure in combination with microbubbles. This is supposed to improve drug delivery in tumor tissue like in breast cancer.
