The Institute for Experimental Molecular Imaging focuses on the development and evaluation of novel imaging modalities, contrast agents and theranostics.

These projects are researched within the framework of 6 umbrella research fields. These include the full value chain from basic research to clinical trials.

As a rule, all projects are processed and researched in an interdisciplinary manner. This is also characterized by the high level of interdisciplinarity of the staff.
